With a population of over 300 people, Canupawakpa Dakota Nation is located in southwestern Manitoba, Canada. 

Located along the #83 highway, Canupawakpa Dakota Nation has a gaming centre with VLT’s and some convenience items. The communities Band Office is located centrally between the Health Services building and the Gaming Centre. 

A beautiful new community centre building was opened in the summer of 2021.
